We had the pleasure of hosting a family this June in our Vundu Camp at Mana Pools for 10 days, and they enjoyed a truly extraordinary time filled with cherished experiences. From a thrilling father-daughter canoe trip and captivating wildlife encounters to birthday celebrations and lifelong memories, their trip was a true family adventure!
Accompanied by their guide Nick, Charles and his daughter Isabelle set out on an unforgettable canoe trip, carrying all their essentials in their trusty canoes. For two days, the team canoed down the Zambezi River, taking in all the beautiful scenery and setting up their tents in beautiful locations, cooking meals together and watching the starlit sky by a a crackling campfire. Isabelle’s excitement reaches its peak when she successfully reeled in a magnificent Vundu fish, showcasing her adventurous spirit and love for nature – well done Isabelle!
After returning from the canoe trip, we celebrated the son Charlie’s birthday. Our Bushlife Safaris team went above and beyond, surprising Charlie with a special birthday cake! The family were also treated to wonderful wildlife sightings include a pair of male lions and time with Tusker, one of our most favourite elephant bulls in Mana Pools.
