Your adventure begins when you land at Mana Main Airstrip, where your guide will be waiting to drive you to Vundu Camp. Your arrival time will determine your immediate activity. The drive to Vundu Camp takes about 1 hour, but it will be combined with a game drive. You will arrive at Vundu Camp in time for lunch followed by a siesta before your afternoon activity of game driving and walking. After sundowners, you will return back to camp for dinner. Activities for the following day are discussed at dinner.
A continental breakfast is served by the firepit, after which you will go on your morning activity which could be a game drive, walking safari or canoeing. You will return for lunch, unless you are doing a full day of canoeing. Your afternoon activity will happen after siesta and tea. Whether game driving, walking, canoeing or enjoying a river cruise, you will find a spot for sundowners before returning to camp for dinner. Dinner is served under the stars.
After a continental breakfast, you will depart for your morning activity, which will be a drive, walk or canoe. A full day of canoeing is also an option, where you can have brunch on the shores of the river. Similar to Day 2, after your morning activity, you will return for lunch and siesta. After siesta, tea is served, after which you will go for your afternoon activity. Sundowners will be served in a new, exciting spot before you return to camp and enjoy bar snacks, drinks and dinner which will all be served in the Main Area.
On the day of your departure, you will start off with a continental breakfast. You can also decide whether or not you would like to head out early as normal, or have a slower morning. Your game drive will end at Mana Main Airstrip in time for your departure.
What guests have to say…
“This was our fifth trip to Southern Africa and by far the best. What Nick and his staff at Vundu Camp is able to provide is simply so much above what you get with a “typical” vehicle based safari that there is simply no comparison. At Vundu Camp the truck is just a way to get to your starting point. It’s when the engine shuts off that the adventure begins…”
